Arboriculture is the care and maintenance of trees and shrubs.

SASA (SA Society of Arboriculture) is a group of people dedicated to promoting ethical Arboricultural practices throughout South Australia and to enhance the preservation of the environment for future generations.

Our membership is wide and includes Local Government Arboricultural, Horticultural and Planning Staff, Contracting Arborists, Consulting Arborists, Arboricultural Training Providers, Goods and Services providers to our industry and alot more.

On this website you will find a variety of information that will help you from the community make better decisions and find the right people to help you with your tree issues.There is also a lot of valuable information for members to source.

There are many Laws, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and other guidelines relating to best practices tree management that apply to Arborists, developers and homeowners. Be sure to do your research before building nears trees or working on trees. Arborists are also encouraged to be familiar with these.
